Bibi Dong's voice fell silent.
The blood-red Asura Divine Sword glimmered faintly, and a dignified yet languid voice emerged from within.
"Don't worry."
"The City of Slaughter is my inheritance ground. Although I once lent it to Rakshasa, Destruction and the others won't be able to detect what happens inside."
"When the time comes, I'll tear open a Space Channel between the Abyss and the Douluo Continent. Once you've finished your business over there, come back and continue guiding this continent."
"You don't need to tell me the second half!"
Bibi Dong snapped coldly.
"If it weren't for your damned Divine Trial, why would I have stayed in this place for all these years?!"
"I'm doing this for the Douluo Continent too. The Douluo Continent has actually been declining all along. The powers of Spirit Masters and Spirit Beasts are unequal, and in just tens of thousands of years, this flaw will be enough to make Spirit Beasts disappear and cause the entire Spirit Master system to collapse. We really have no choice but to find replacements for the Spirit Beasts."
The voice within the Asura Divine Sword cried out in grievance.
"But you can't make someone who isn't even a god deal with matters that should be your responsibility."
Bibi Dong's face turned livid.
She had been completely pressed into service.
Staying in this godforsaken place without a soul in sight, where she had to remain on edge every moment, it was already impressive enough that she had not gone mad.
"It's fine. You're practically no different from a true god now. You can wield Asura Divine Power as you please, and every part of you is covered in Soul Bones over a hundred thousand years old. Even that Sea God fellow would be frightened upon seeing you now."
