After Wang Lei confirmed with the system that he would transmigrate to the world of Honkai Star Rail, he was given the option to choose his arrival location, just as he had been when transmigrating to Genshin Impact.

However, Wang Lei had nothing to hesitate over here. His main goal was to cling to Asta's thigh, so naturally, he had to arrive at Herta Space Station around the time the plot began.

Only by following the protagonist's group and saving Arlan could he keep Asta from not even wanting to acknowledge him. According to the game's side quests, Asta was no naïve young miss. Her methods for managing her subordinates were quite formidable, and she showed every sign of being sweet on the outside and dark underneath.

Thus, Wang Lei chose to arrive at the anchor point to the right of the Medical Station in the Base Cabin Segment of Herta Space Station. This was the route Kafka and Silver Wolf had taken during their infiltration. If Wang Lei moved quickly enough, he might even get acquainted with the two of them.

Before it, Wang Lei felt as tiny as an ant standing beside the feet of the giant Pangu. If he had not been far enough away, he probably would not even have been able to tell it was a tree.

Then Wang Lei noticed terrifying gazes converging on him from every direction.

Directly in front of him, a figure made of ice crystals suddenly appeared—an ice-crystal person who resembled an ancient emperor from the Qin or Han dynasty.

To his left appeared countless orange-yellow masks, circus balls, jack-in-the-boxes, candies, gold coins, and fake mouths. They mixed together into an unknown entity, from which all kinds of laughter and cheerful voices emerged.

Below him appeared a woman whose entire body—and seemingly even her arms—was composed of puzzle pieces. Every piece of her body was filled with the mysteries of the starry sky. She had long white hair trailing to the ground, with irregular rainbow-colored backlighting behind her head. Her exposed feet seemed to indicate that her entire being was made of stars.

To his right, a giant suddenly emerged, his entire body wreathed in golden flames. His arms had been severed into several sections, and a massive wound lay across his chest. He looked utterly savage, as though he intended to destroy the world.

Behind him, when Wang Lei turned around, a massive black Milky Way had appeared, seemingly drawing all surrounding objects into its body. Yet this black Milky Way had two fried-egg-shaped white eyes, making it look somewhat comical.

Wang Lei inwardly screamed that he was finished. He had not even arrived in the Honkai Star Rail world yet, so why were Fuli the Remembrance, Aha the Elation, Nanook the Destruction, Xipe the Harmony, and IX the Nihility blocking his way? Was he going to die again today...?

Fortunately, these beings who could erase Wang Lei into dust with a glance did not seem to have actually noticed him. Their gazes swept across the area where he was, seemingly finding nothing, and continued scanning. Only Nihility slowly closed its eyes and disappeared.

This continued until Aha could no longer restrain his restless heart and directly approached Wang Lei's location to get a closer look. The other Aeons still scanning immediately withdrew their gazes upon seeing Aha and vanished, probably assuming they had been tricked by Aha.

After the other Aeons disappeared, Aha circled Wang Lei's location several times, then vanished with a laugh.

Even after all the Aeons had left, Wang Lei did not dare move a single inch. Though he did not know how the Aeons had detected the anomaly caused by his transmigration, the system had clearly hidden him from their investigation and protected him. Otherwise, he would have long since been surrounded and watched by all the Aeons.

If he got lucky, he might obtain five Paths he did not yet possess in one go. Perhaps Aha might even grant him some power and directly elevate him into an Emanator.

If he got unlucky, then he could only pray that he would still be able to reincarnate. He did not dare hope for rebirth again; being allowed into the cycle of reincarnation would already mean the Destruction had shown mercy.

Moreover, because of Aha's antics, the other Aeons who had been alerted probably all believed it had been one of Aha's pranks. After all, he really was capable of doing something like that.

Fortunately, Aha did not mind becoming someone else's amusement, so he had taken the initiative to mislead the other Aeons. A projection of Herta Space Station's logo hovered above what appeared to be the reception desk in the hall. Wang Lei knew he had reached his destination. At least for now, he should be safe.

The gathering of five Aeons had truly frightened Wang Lei so badly that his legs had gone weak. He sat on the floor for three to five minutes before recovering.

Fortunately, the location he had chosen lay on the only route Kafka and Silver Wolf would take to reach the Stellaron Repository.

If this was the point when the plot had just begun and the Antimatter Legion had only just invaded, then Kafka and Silver Wolf had only recently passed through. The Antimatter Legion should already have been completely wiped out by the two of them, so there was no Antimatter Legion coming to attack Wang Lei while his legs were still weak.

Once Wang Lei felt he had fully recovered, he finally remembered what he had come here to do. He rose to his feet and followed the route he remembered toward the passage on the left. Whenever he encountered a sensor door, he simply used Aether Encoding to hack into it.

Silver Wolf's system intrusion route was exceptionally clear to Wang Lei, who was also an Aether Encoding user. He could even see exactly what commands she had forged to open the doors. So, he copied her method and opened the passage door as well.

What awaited Wang Lei next was an extremely long corridor. He then used the traces Silver Wolf had left behind to open the sealed main control room door once more. The moment he entered, he froze in shock.

The three people across from him were equally stunned. Oh, no—two people.

Judging from the current situation, Kafka had just pressed the Stellaron into the protagonist's body. Yes, the protagonist was confirmed to be the female Stelle. She was currently at the brink of losing consciousness, and Kafka was about to cast a Spirit Whisper on her.
