Wang Lei seized most of Lieshan’s weapons before news arrived that the Taotie army was approaching the Chiwu Star System. He returned to Earth to prepare, while Sun Wukong departed and Leina remained in Lieshan.

• Wang Lei and Sun Wukong loaded Lieshan’s weapons into a gap as Leina tried to stop them, while Pan Zhen avoided another confrontation.
• A soldier announced that the Taotie army was about to enter the Chiwu Star System, halting the argument and the looting.

• Wang Lei summoned Rift Realm Creatures to disable the Taotie gunships’ weapons, then slipped into a gunship and hacked the Grand Cross’s systems.

Wang Lei seized control of a Taotie Grand Cross, captured its surviving crew, and used the ship to devastate the Taotie forces besieging the Super Soldier Company. With the battlefield stabilized, he sent the team to hunt down the remaining Taotie in Tianhe City.

• Wang Lei crippled the surrounding gunships, infiltrated the Grand Cross, and rewrote its systems to place the ship under his control.

• Wang Lei and the Astral Express Group played Monopoly with Ying and the gathered spectators until the Rite of Descension began, and Dan Heng won the final game.
• Ningguang began the Rite of Descension, but the clouds darkened and the Rock God Emperor’s dragon corpse crashed into the alchemy furnace.

The adepti questioned him about the Geo Archon’s death, cleared him of suspicion, and just as his agreement with Xiao ended, a storm and roar from Guyun Stone Forest threatened Liyue Harbor.

• Tartaglia hired Ying and the Star Rail Crew to help Zhongli prepare the Rite of Parting, and they charged the Fatui for costly ingredients and kept extra Noctilucous Jade at Xianlin Restaurant.
• Wang Lei teased the group into thinking Ganyu was Qiqi’s Coconut Goat, then revealed that the requested milk was coconut milk and gave Ying a bottle to deliver.
• Wang Lei apologized after Zhongli exposed his prank, and he calmed the women with macarons and weight-loss medicine from the system.

• Cloud Retainer and the other adepti flew to reinforce the Jade Chamber, while Shenhe rushed toward the harbor and Wang Lei caught up with her and carried her to the front line.
• Zhongli warned Wang Lei that joining the battle could affect Ningguang's judgment, but Wang Lei argued that his friends had already chosen to fight and Zhongli stepped aside.
• Wang Lei secured Ningguang's permission to deploy the Grand Cross, assigned Himeko to command it and Stelle to operate its guns, then returned to the Jade Chamber with communication earpieces.
• Madam Ping told the adepti she had not made Wang Lei's enormous Serenitea Pot, leaving them to wonder about its origins, while Wang Lei prepared Himeko and Stelle aboard the mothership.

The Grand Cross, the Guizhong Ballistae, and Welt’s Alahato II weakened Osial but could not defeat it, so Wang Lei turned to Dan Heng for help. Dan Heng revealed his Imbibitor Lunae form and struggled against Osial’s control of the water, then received a Hydro God’s Eye as the fight continued.

• Himeko fired the Grand Cross’s main cannon at Osial, and the adepti struck its heads with their Guizhong Ballistae, heavily injuring two of them before Osial’s vortex emerged.
• Osial’s vortex pulled in the Jade Chamber and absorbed their attacks, so Wang Lei stopped Himeko from using Ferocious Tide to avoid destroying Liyue Harbor.
• Wang Lei, Welt, and Madam Ping combined their abilities to create Alahato II, and Welt transformed its arm into a Moonlight Throne that blasted open the vortex and the clouds, but Osial soon recovered.
• Wang Lei asked Dan Heng to find a solution, and Dan Heng revealed his dragonlike Imbibitor Lunae form as Neuvillette sensed him from Fontaine and set off for Liyue.

Wang Lei prepared to use a Boson Space Collapse Bomb to destroy Osial, and Ningguang agreed to sacrifice the Jade Chamber to deliver it to the seal. As the Jade Chamber’s evacuation and final preparations began, Dan Heng continued holding Osial back.

• Dan Heng weakened Osial’s control over Hydro, and Wang Lei ordered the Grand Cross and the adepti to attack while Osial’s recovery was limited.
• Fatui soldiers teleported onto the Jade Chamber and attacked Dan Heng and the Guizhong Ballistas, but Keisha, Ying, March 7th, and the Millelith fought them while Wang Lei removed the Fatui and their weapons.
• Xiao explained that Osial’s true core remained inside the seal, and Wang Lei revealed a Boson Space Collapse Bomb that could kill him if it reached the seal.
• Xiao volunteered to carry the fragile bomb to the seal at the cost of his life, but Ningguang proposed sending the Jade Chamber crashing into the seal with the bomb aboard instead.
• Ningguang accepted the plan and used Wang Lei’s Serenitea Pot to retrieve her possessions, while Wang Lei teleported Shenhe, Ganyu, March 7th, and Welt to the docks and told Dan Heng to hold on for five more minutes.
