Wang Lei’s confrontation with Hua Ye triggered a black-hole explosion that devastated the surrounding battlefield, but Wang Lei recovered and found Hua Ye and Ruo Ning barely alive. After Leng killed Ruo Ning and Wang Lei killed Hua Ye, he sealed their ashes in a marked tomb on an asteroid; the remaining Taotie were destroyed, and Wang Lei turned his attention to Morgana.
