Di Xin and his court learned of the slaughter and resolved to gather the Human Race to resist, leaving the kingdom preparing for war.

• Kong Xuan thanked San Xiao, Zhao Gongming, and the other Interception Sect disciples, then asked them to help defend Jiebei Pass.

Bo Yikao and the Xiqi rebels were stunned when Di Xin arrived at their camp with Huang Feihu and issued a decree stripping the Ji family of its Human Race identity. Di Xin then declared the Demon Clan an enemy of the Human Race and vowed to exterminate it.

• Bo Yikao imagined conquering Chaoge until a messenger reported that Di Xin had arrived at the rebel camp with Huang Feihu.
• Bo Yikao gathered Ji Fa, the other rebel leaders, and Sect of Enlightenment disciples to face Di Xin outside the camp.
