The attack of Tide of Trailing Light came in no fewer than three waves. Only after three surges of pitch-black tide, like towering waves sweeping across earth and sky, had finished crashing through the area would this powerful Morningstar Spell silently dissipate. By then, the space, laws, and matter submerged by the tide would all be broken down and erased, while every light in the region would dim and die as the light elements vanished...
It was precisely because of such astonishing destructive power that this Morningstar killer move, which attacked through the Disintegration Law, was named Tide of Trailing Light!
However, despite its immense power, Tide of Trailing Light, strictly speaking a "weapon of mass destruction" spell, did not affect an especially vast area. Its effective killing range was actually far smaller than that of ordinary area-destruction Legendary Magic. This was because Morningstar Spells could control laws with extreme precision and concentrate energy to an extraordinary degree. A greatly reduced area of destruction meant deadlier high-intensity devastation and an even faster attack speed that was harder to evade.
Thus, after the soundless dark waves that erased radiance and disintegrated the earth dispersed, the area destroyed by Tide of Trailing Light encompassed only the entire Falling Leaf Forest Sea and several nearby mountains. Now that the sky-covering tide of black laws had vanished, the region swept by the Morningstar killer move had naturally been left with nothing but a deep pit in place of the former Flatten Ground.
It was a colossal abyss that had been eroded all the way down to the rock layer of the Faerun plane. If the surface were taken as sea level, the pit was three to four million meters deep.
In fact, under more than ten seconds of raging destruction, an ordinary plane would
