Staring at the now utterly empty Astral Plane space, Punk's voice carried a trace of undisguised surprise. Standing amid the desolate astral expanse, the spellcaster was quite satisfied with the devastation caused by "Collapse Singularity."

However... the spellcaster looked rather bedraggled now. Large cracks had appeared across the outermost three layers of Punk's Legendary tier shields. Merely a few lingering waves of Destruction Law from "Collapse Singularity" sweeping over his body had nearly caused three layers of Legendary Level Spell defenses to collapse.

Though that was also proof of Legendary Magic's formidable destructive power.

Since it had been his first time casting Legendary Magic, Punk had made a slight miscalculation in estimating the spell's destructive range and power. When the powerful Legendary Magic erupted with terrifying force, the spellcaster discovered with some surprise that his spell seemed a little stronger and its range a little wider than expected. As a result, even Punk himself was caught in the violent aftershock of the Destruction Law.

Fortunately, it had only been a tiny aftershock. Casting a spell did not mean the spellcaster immediately lost all control over it. In fact, if one's techniques were sufficiently skilled, a Legendary spellcaster could still retain a considerable degree of control over Legendary Magic that had already been cast.

For example, they could adjust the direction in which energy erupted, restrict the expanding range of its power, or even control terrifying Law energy to avoid themselves.

When the spell erupted, Punk had controlled the Gravity Law of "Collapse Singularity" so that it would not affect him. Otherwise, he would have been pulled toward the sphere of Destruction Law energy floating in midair.
