Reward

Even Punk had to admit that order was a good thing. Although he personally had never liked following rules and restrictions, he quite enjoyed dealing with people from lawful alignments.

Because... generally speaking, if someone from a lawful alignment was stronger than him, Punk's own safety could be guaranteed due to their "lawful" nature. If they were weaker than him... it was also much easier and more convenient for a caster to take advantage of them.

Of course, that was certainly a very selfish way of thinking. However, Punk, who believed that interests came first, would always answer with perfect justification—yes, I was just that selfish.

The "Chairman" before Punk was clearly a Lawful Neutral caster, precisely the kind of person Punk most enjoyed dealing with. From the Chairman's current attitude, he did not appear to be one of those extreme "lawful" mages either. At the very least, he showed no prejudice toward mages like Punk from the Chaotic Neutral alignment.

Now, the Chairman had placed three possible rewards before Punk. The hazy projection lightly tapped the air, and three glittering golden images formed out of nowhere.

They were three unusual symbols. From left to right, the first depicted a mysterious eye. Intricate patterns outlined gorgeous decorative borders around it, but judging by Punk's knowledge of runes, those elaborate borders seemed to be... purely ornamental.

The second symbol was clearly a hammer. However, this hammer-shaped symbol was exceedingly plain. It was simply an ordinary hammer, without even the slightest extra decoration.

The third symbol was a staff tilted at a forty-five-degree angle and engraved with intricate runes. Its image showed a crescent-shaped head and a sleek shaft. Punk recognized the runes inscribed upon it; translated into Common Tongue, they meant "never stop moving forward."
