A Legendary "Battle" (9)

During his confrontation with Punk, the enraged yet still supremely confident Aimoda Flameclaw showed no intention of backing down. He merely clenched the large crystal, which should have lost all function after having components removed, tightly in his hand. Then... the dragon's confident roar echoed across the battlefield once more.

"Insignificant mage, your Legendary Magic is nothing more than this. Now, try my innate Legendary Magic!"

Aimoda's voice remained as savage and violent as ever. Great waves of scorching heat accompanied the dragon's roar, once again turning into blazing fire that swept across the sky. The confidence and arrogance in his words were utterly genuine, so upon hearing the Legendary Red Dragon's threat and roar, Punk's expression abruptly changed.

Legendary Magic—at any time, any Legendary Magic would surely command the attention of every Legendary professional. Such terrifying trump cards, describable only as disasters, could not be ignored or treated lightly.

However, Legendary Magic was also exceedingly rare and difficult to obtain. Countless Legendary spellcasters failed to acquire even a single Legendary Magic as a trump card before reaching level twenty-five or twenty-six. Legendary Warlocks needed even less explanation; what Innate Spells they could "awaken" depended heavily on luck. This was especially true for warlocks like Legendary Dragons, who possessed natural physical advantages and tended toward both martial and magical combat. For them, it was perfectly normal to reach level thirty or even the Morningstar tier without awakening any innate Legendary Magic or innate Legendary Battle Skill.

But what had Punk just heard? Aimoda had actually loudly claimed that he possessed an innate Legendary Level Spell?

Although Punk vaguely sensed that something was off about the dragon's so-called "innate Legendary Magic," the moment he heard the words "Legendary Magic," the spellcaster did not hesitate in the slightest... he turned and ran!
