The Saintess and the Ritual

General Fisk was the foremost commander of the Redstone Kingdom. Considering that he was one of the few Master Level combat professionals in the entire Redstone Plane, no one else could have held the position.

Of course, Fisk was not the kind of useless general who merely carried a title while handing all actual command of the army to his adjutants. This Master Level professional, utterly loyal to the Redstone Kingdom, did possess some military talent.

For example... he at least understood the basic tactics that should be used in war, and he knew how to deal with a group of enemies positioned inside a canyon.

That was right. Fisk was the military leader ordered to purge the cultists of the "Red Sands Cult," and this time, he had brought the Redstone Kingdom's most elite soldiers.

Although the Red Sands Cult's only two Master Level Priests on the Redstone Plane were already dead, and Fisk, as a Master Level professional, could have slaughtered his way through the cultists' altar alone, he still cautiously ordered his army to seal every exit from Ritual Canyon in order to ensure that all tens of thousands of Red Sands believers would be slaughtered.

The mission he had received was to "kill every Red Sands Cult believer." Fisk, who had a bit of a perfectionist streak, did not intend to let a single "criminal" escape.

The Redstone Kingdom's elite worked efficiently. Under the leadership of several Formal Level professionals, this "army," advancing toward the canyon from every direction in an orderly fashion, took less than ten minutes to set up barricades at every entrance and exit of Ritual Canyon.

These steel barricades, formed from long metal spikes, pointed inward like thorn-covered shields. Every opening was manned by crossbowmen lying in wait.

For ordinary people, this
