Because the fundamental force Law had shattered, the continental shelf, structurally stable one second before, was struck by a terrifying earthquake of at least magnitude twenty the next. The entirety of White Stone City abruptly toppled toward the ground, while the twisted Law energy seemed to turn into a gigantic broom that viciously swept through the inside of the Magic Lock. Along with deafening roars came supernatural disasters erupting throughout the city almost simultaneously.
Living people burst into flames from within. Massive rocks turned into ice out of nowhere, then exploded without warning. Light began to twist and refract freely like dancing spirit serpents. Even the atomic structures of matter began to collapse and disintegrate violently without restraint.
Although this was merely a trace of Law distortion, insignificant to any Legendary professional, it was still a terrifying disaster of the Legendary tier. Before such a disaster, even Master Level professionals were no different from infants trembling inside swaddling clothes. Without methods of the Legendary tier, it was impossible to resist a disaster of the Legendary tier.
