After Punk's spell struck his head, the ogre mage immediately stopped pursuing Owen and viciously turned around. His rage had made his two head-sized eyes glow blood-red.
No matter what, Punk's attack hitting "right on target" had been a little too convenient. How could such a coincidence so easily occur in a superluminal battle between Legendary professionals? And even if it did happen, why did it have to happen at this exact moment? Such an excessive "coincidence" left Babang unable to suppress his suspicion and fury.
However, Punk gave his teammate no answer at all.
Flying through the air, Punk could vaguely guess that this "coincidence" had been influenced by "it." The caster remembered how recklessly he had provoked the River of Fate before. Before carrying out this mission, he had even wondered when and in what form the next Interference Mechanism would activate.

Of course, the Legendary Mage could not possibly tell the furious ogre any of this. Facing Babang's questioning, Whisper of Destruction merely frowned, swiftly cast Legendary Swiftness on himself, and flew toward Owen in the distance as he coldly answered:
"A coincidence is a coincidence! Why so much nonsense? In the end, wasn't it because an idiot like you ran right into the line of fire? If I wanted to kill you, I would have thrown Legendary Magic at you long ago! And besides... is this the time to discuss such a 'trivial matter'? Why aren't you hurrying up and capturing the Rune Sage?!"
Shirking responsibility and muddying the waters—Punk's response remained as insidious and cunning as ever.
After
