The world of shadows was as dark and gloomy as ever. The pitch-black rocks exposed aboveground brought an oppressive feeling that made it hard to breathe.
On a barren hill in Andokla Forest, several snow-white flowers swayed between cracks in the rocks, giving the mountain of stone, which resembled some colossal beast, a faint touch of "nature."
Yet the heavy hill was unexpectedly far from quiet. Even without howling hurricanes weaving through the rocks and producing ghostly, mournful sounds, the interior of this "stone mountain" still trembled faintly and clearly released terrifying, rumbling "roars."
Along with those deep "roars" came dreadful waves of spiritual power spreading without restraint. In this area, aside from the immobile plants that continued to grow, nearly all animals had vanished and fled in every direction... Beneath the shroud of shadow, only horrifying wails echoed through the mountain without end. The white trees, their branches and leaves swaying with the tremors, made the entire hill seem eerie and sinister.
Naturally, a hill could not keep wailing on its own, much less continuously release spiritual fluctuations filled with pain. The source of the tremendous noise had to be inside the mountain.
In fact, if someone were able to dig a hole into this hill now, they would surely be astonished by the sight within.
The hill was no longer filled with solid rock. A vast mass of irregular rubble had replaced the once-solid black stone, crammed inside the sturdy shell of dark rock. With every shrill, inhuman howl, the rubble was continuously churned and ground into even smaller fragments.
Clearly, the culprit responsible for turning a hill into a "bun stuffed with gravel" was still inside this airless mountain hollow.
"Aaaaaaah!"
"Crash!"
Another pain-filled wail shook the rocks. Great quantities of rubble were stirred by some powerful
