The Azure Dragon tested them, while Ling Xiaojiu discovered that the minor plane’s laws suppressed her strength below the divine level.

• Great Enshrined Kuang Zhan explained that Jin Zi had to subdue the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermillion Bird, and Black Tortoise to obtain Mad Beast God's inherited divine artifact.
• Ling Xiaojiu asked how to subdue the four beasts and learned that the Azure Dragon required recognition, the White Tiger required stronger killing intent, the Vermillion Bird had to be beaten, and the Black Tortoise would yield after the others.
