Countless years ago, although Penglai Immortal City was already a major city, there were not so many islands around it, nor was it anywhere near as prosperous as it was now.

Penglai Immortal City had become so flourishing now, with an area comparable to an entire Chaos State, because of that great upheaval long ago.

At the time, an immense expanse of Black Weak Water appeared out of thin air at the western edge of the sea region where Penglai Immortal City was located, bringing earth-shaking changes to those waters.

This incident caused a tremendous sensation across the Origin Continent. Countless mysterious existences speculated whether some Exotic Treasure had descended into the world or whether an Alien Race invasion had occurred, triggering such a massive disturbance.

The major powers all dispatched their subordinates and experts to gather intelligence. Countless Eternal True Gods, Chaos Masters, and even God-King experts had searched that sea region for information, yet after thoroughly searching the skies above those waters, they found not the slightest clue.

Only the Black Weak Water beneath the sea had never been searched in detail, because it was exceedingly strange: the higher one's realm, the greater the damage one suffered.
