Passing the Final Selection

He had only just entered when he encountered a demon. He used all his strength to kill it, but unexpectedly, another one appeared. He had already been exhausted and injured in the previous battle, so now, upon encountering another demon, he could only flee.

"Help! Somebody save me!"

His eyes were filled with despair. He did not want to die in this place.

Suddenly, footsteps sounded in the distance. Su Chen carried his Nichirin Blade and slowly emerged from the mountain forest.

When the youth saw Su Chen, it was as if he had seen his salvation. He scrambled toward Su Chen on all fours.

"Help, help!"

He continued shouting, his eyes filled with a longing for life.

Su Chen turned his head and glanced at him, then coldly looked toward the demon ahead.

"Hahaha, I didn't expect another human to come. I've been trapped here for years, and I can finally eat humans again. And this time, I get to eat two at once."

"Buy one, get one free?"

After seeing Su Chen, the demon became extremely excited, as if Su Chen were already something in his pocket.

"Die for me!"

The demon was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, he had reached Su Chen.

Seeing that Su Chen was still standing there in a daze, the youth behind him was dumbfounded. The demons on Mt. Fujikasane were not particularly strong, and basically anyone could defeat them with enough effort. Yet Su Chen did not move at all.
