Su Chen silently nodded at him.

Giyu Tomioka raised his foot and walked inside. He wasn't the only one there—all the other Pillars were present as well. As for why they were all gathered here—
The reason was simple.
Oyakata-sama had said that a new Pillar would likely be born soon, so they all wanted to see what this soon-to-be Pillar was really like.
Sanemi, the scar-faced man, looked toward Su Chen. "That's him? He doesn't look like much. He's practically covered in openings."
The Love Pillar's face flushed with infatuation. "He's so handsome!"
The Stone Pillar said, "Namu Amida Butsu."
Su Chen merely turned his head and glanced at Sanemi. He didn't bother responding, but that calm, disdainful look made Sanemi furious.
"Damn it, how dare you ignore me?"
As he spoke, he strode forward, intending to teach this newcomer Su Chen a small lesson.

All of a sudden—
Sanemi's pupils contracted slightly. He hurriedly drew his sword to block, only to find that Su Chen had somehow appeared in front of him. The blade in Su Chen's hand came slashing straight down at Sanemi.
The two blades collided, ringing out with a clear, pleasing sound.
Su Chen didn't stop. His figure moved like a ghost, his speed reaching its absolute limit.
