Here we go, brothers! Due to the delayed event, it was postponed to the 8th before it started, but the launch was set on September 1st. This new book period is probably the shortest I've had since I started writing, haha.
To be honest, I'm feeling uneasy. After all, so far, I haven't broken the curse of writing one popular book after a series of flops. Whether this one can break it is still unknown for now.
As for why I continue to choose the player theme, one reason is the editor's suggestion to choose a more stable theme as much as possible. The second reason is that I mentioned it many times at the end of the last book: I wanted to try writing a fantasy + player style, breaking out of the science fiction framework and trying out the ideas that were conceived but not written in This Game Is Too Realistic.
It's different from the academic genius theme.
There's really nothing good to write about academic geniuses anymore. I've even summarized the formulas that can be used, and it seems that quite a few people are using them. I smile knowingly when I occasionally come across them.
It would be too presumptuous for me to write it again unless I have a new idea. Otherwise, I probably won't write the same theme again.
But the player style is obviously different. It doesn't have a fixed routine, and there are many things that can be expanded.
As for the brothers who say "I'm copying myself," you don't need to keep saying it. I'll say it for you. If you say it is, then it is. After all, people have two eyes and a nose, don't they?
Putting aside the facts, don't two people have any of the same genes in their blood vessels? What's more, they were born from the same father.
You're right!
But let's not talk about this issue for now. It's meaningless. I'll continue to write as I see fit. After all, I can't just start writing only when everyone is satisfied, right? And for me, this book and This Game Is Too Realistic are completely different outlines, and the story's trajectory will be completely different.
For example, although it's also written with a group portrait approach, this book will focus more on the protagonist's development.
For example, due to the initial settings, the players in this book will be even more heaven-defying than in the previous one.
For example, regarding the setting of Extraordinary Power, I will design it to be more interesting while also making it self-consistent.
For example, it's obvious that the last book was about a mastermind behind the scenes, while this book leans towards the Self-Deception Style.
In addition, the impact of the "game world" on the real world will be earlier than in the previous book, and it will also write about the growth of the players in reality.
If the writing style of the game book focuses on epic, then this book will be more inclined towards mythology.
Moreover, I also want to try to write the trajectory of a "subjective idealism" civilization growing to the interstellar era, interpreting the same starry sky from another perspective.
Of course, this may sound too abstract, and saying more may involve spoilers.
Let's leave the rest to be said in the book!
In short, thank you for your support!
I will continue to create the story in my heart as always, and I sincerely thank you for liking my work!
Thank you!
