Chapter Summaries

After Konoha faced a joint threat from Sunagakure and Cloud, its forces fought back on both fronts while Yayoi stayed in the village. Black Zetsu then asked Yayoi to use the Tenseigan’s Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion to split the moon and free Kaguya, hoping they could escape Earth.

• Mito stayed in the Land of Whirlpools with Uchiha Nagisa to help defend it, while Izuna returned to Konoha with the rest of the clan.
• Yayoi rejected Kirigakure’s demand to hand over the people who killed the First Mizukage, and she answered Sunagakure and Cloud’s accusations by declaring Konoha ready for war.

The chapter ended with Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki arriving at the Moon Palace and confronting its Uchiha guard.

Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Urashiki attacked the Moon Palace to reach Kaguya, but Ōtsutsuki Hamura awakened and fought them. After a Giant Tenseigan blast was absorbed, Hamura and Kaguya disappeared, leaving Momoshiki interested in the weapon and Urashiki frustrated.

• Urashiki's hook failed to reach Kaguya when Hamura awakened and drove Kinshiki back with a punch.
• Urashiki drained Hamura's chakra while Kinshiki pressed the newly awakened warrior with weapons and taijutsu.

• Uchiha Chō sent Izuna to find Madara, while she and Yayoi prepared to face the Ōtsutsuki threatening Konoha.
• Momoshiki and Kinshiki left the moon for Earth, and Urashiki remained to guard the One-Eyed Giant System.
• Yayoi brought the white-haired Clone containing Kyosuke’s sleeping soul to the moon and attacked Urashiki with Lightning Release: Kirin.

• The clone boy’s Rinnegan awakened as he fought Urashiki, and the power within him began to take over.
• Kyosuke emerged and faced Urashiki, who pierced his chest and crushed his heart, but Kyosuke reversed his own time to undo the injury.
