"Brando! We found a large group of dead researchers! No sign of the enemy yet!" a subordinate called from underground.
Brando sighed when he heard that. Sure enough, the researchers had all died.
"The enemy can't have gotten far! Send people after them!"
He issued several orders over his communicator. More than a dozen S1s immediately came up and scattered in helicopters to search for traces of the enemy.
Meanwhile, Brando used his umbrella as a walking stick and strolled elegantly into the base.
Brandy followed behind him, then suddenly tilted his head as though he had heard something and walked over to Amu.
"Brother, this one's still alive!" Brandy said, patting Amu.
"Wake him up! Bring him down!" Brando said as he jumped into the enormous hole.
Brandy carried Amu after him, slapping him awake along the way.
Amu slowly came around. The first thing he saw was thirty guards whose heads had all been blown apart by bullets.
A short distance farther on, Brando and the others found three more bodies—S2s from the Osiris Squad, all of them Uluru's teammates.
"They were killed by lasers. Probably attacks from the Black Wand too," Brando said.
He looked back, saw that Amu was awake, and demanded, "Who attacked Santa Fe?"
Amu collected himself and said, "Evil Dragon!"
