"Stop fighting! You'll kill him if you keep going!"
Brandy wanted to step in and stop Brando, but he couldn't get anywhere near them.
Brando and Osiris had fought themselves into a fury. Neither used any equipment, clashing with raw physical strength alone, and Brando had the upper hand.
As for their superpowers, Osiris had Savage Bone Growth, while Brando had parasitic spores. His spores came in many varieties. Some could reproduce rapidly inside a human body, dividing by absorbing its nutrients or even directly feeding on blood, and swiftly growing into fungal colonies.
Fortunately, Osiris had his exoskeleton to block them. Even so, he had inevitably inhaled a large number of spores during the fight.
By now, small patches of fungal threads obstructed his joints, ligaments, tendons, and blood vessels. The longer Osiris fought, the weaker he felt. His limbs, neck, and waist felt as though they had rusted solid.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Brando gradually gained the upper hand, pinning him to the ground and pounding him until Osiris was almost reduced to pulp.
Osiris was furious. He realized that Brando had deliberately coaxed him into leaving his Biological Armor aboard the helicopter. Then, the moment they disembarked, Brando had turned on him. He had clearly been prepared to subdue Osiris by force at any time.
This can't go on... damn it, if I got my bio-armor back, why would I be afraid of him?
Osiris grew anxious. He knew he would certainly die if the fight continued like this. Only retrieving his equipment would give him a chance of winning.
"A Fu, Brando is the mole! He's been framing me like a madman. Can't you see it? He's pointing the finger to cover his own guilt, and now he wants to kill me!" Osiris roared.
