On June 1, the first Controlled Nuclear Fusion spacecraft in human history was born.
Of course, humanity had not developed it entirely on its own. God Lu Wu deserved half the credit.
From its materials to its components, the spacecraft was built with Dragonkin technology.
Only its shape was Huang Ji's design. It resembled Dragon Horns, forming a large V, with the forked side facing forward.
Its primary color was blue, with white lines tracing the details of its components.
Huang Ji named it the Kunlun Ship, to symbolize the blue-and-white Earth.
However, it also had another form, entirely black with gold lines, which was better suited to spaceflight.
The two forms corresponded to two sets of engines.
One was an antigravity engine for traveling within large gravitational fields. Like the Winged God and Dis's flying saucer, it could fly freely over a planet's surface at a maximum speed of Mach 25.
The other was a fusion engine, powered by a nuclear fusion reactor, which could accelerate it to one percent of light speed in just ten minutes.
With continuous acceleration, it could reach a maximum speed of twenty thousand kilometers per second.
There was actually a third, emergency system: Five-Colored Stone thrusters.
Five-colored stone burned itself to eject high-speed streams of matter, reaching a tenth of light speed.
Of course, this wasted tremendous amounts of energy. But energy was everywhere in the universe. As long as they could reach the vicinity of a star or the depths of a planet's core, replenishing the five-colored stone would be easy.
The Kunlun Ship was twenty-four meters long and five meters high, with a volume of twelve hundred cubic meters. With its fuel tanks empty, it weighed only twenty tonnes.
That was why they had to use alien materials. Alien materials science
