I wrote until four last night, got up at eight this morning for a nucleic acid test because I had a layover in Qingdao last month. At noon, I ate with my grandpa, then took him for a medical checkup in the afternoon, and had dinner with my dad in the evening.
I felt like I was the one who needed to go to the hospital—my heart hurt, my head hurt, my kidneys hurt, my stomach hurt... Fortunately, my lungs were fine.
I saw some complaints that the last two chapters had been a little padded. That was true. On one hand, they happened to be transitional chapters; on the other, I hadn't been in great shape. I'll adjust, and normal updates will resume tomorrow.
As for making up missed updates... there's no need to make them up in the main story. I often write six or seven thousand words per chapter, and sometimes over ten thousand words a day depending on the plot. Making up chapters doesn't really mean much. Once my updates have been stable for a while, I'll write some side stories as compensation.
P.S. Sorry.
