During the great silence, Fanny had fallen into a panic too. She had only just discovered the Seven Stars Medical Skill! Though it was still only a possibility, she had already convinced herself it was real.
She had been enthusiastically describing it to the president over her communicator when the great silence suddenly struck, instantly cutting off their conversation!
How could she not panic? If anything happened to her now, it would be like winning the jackpot only to be diagnosed with a terminal illness...
"Varu! Cover me! We're leaving!" Fanny's first reaction was to flee the Sirius Star System.
Varu readily agreed, but before leaving, Fanny insisted on taking the portion of gel she had given Aurora.
She still wasn't sure whether that portion had the same miraculous effects. Strictly speaking, the two portions had different structures, but Fanny couldn't take that gamble. They were broadly the same, after all.
