Huang Ji had climbed to first place with a string of victories, his score surpassing Yin Fu's.
Normally, that was the highest achievement a Nitrogen Grade fighter could attain. There was no need to keep queuing.
He could either take a break and learn something else, or advance to a higher grade and fight in a stronger arena.
But the fighting continued. Huang Ji queued for another match.
"Huang Ji, don't bother! No one will queue against you. Just leave!" Sha Zhu, who had just lost, said grimly.
Huang Ji looked beyond the arena. The many powerful fighters there wore troubled expressions. They had all been warned not to fight him under any circumstances.
When no one stepped forward, Huang Ji called to Yu Suo Ma of the Golden Crow Race. "Didn't you prepare a finishing move?"
"Coming!" Yu Suo Ma laughed and moved to enter the arena.
But a Golden Crow Official stopped him. "Yu Suo Ma, you can't go in. He's already in first place!"
"So what if he's first? I've been queuing all this time because I wanted to fight him, but I never got my turn!" Yu Suo Ma protested.
The official said, "Once he's first, nine more wins against emperors make him a great emperor! If you go in now, you'll be handing him a win!"
"Who says I'll lose? How would you know before we've fought?" Yu Suo Ma snapped.
Everyone glanced over. The official was speechless. Did Yu Suo Ma have no idea what he was up against?
"Either way, you can't go in. That's an order."
"Trust me. I can win," Yu Suo Ma said gravely.
"That's your imagination talking," said the official.
"It's not my imagination. I really can win, trust me! I can do more than win—I can beat him
