I should've said so earlier. It was always two or three o'clock, which was really frustrating, so I decided to take the day off today.
I'm a bit Kavin. I reread the early parts of this book and ended up completely engrossed... By comparison, it's hard to write Higher Civilization with that same feeling. The items, society, and races all lack any sense of immersion. All I can say is that my writing still isn't good enough.
