Bone Fan was cut into two halves, but the Skyworms did not care about her body, because this was barely different from being shoved aside. In Skyworm culture, it amounted to nothing more than an ordinary warning.
What shocked them even more was that after living aboard the Invincible for so long, it no longer recognized them!
"Damn it! What did you do?" one of the Skyworms immediately roared at Huang Ji.
Huang Ji spread his hands. "I merely healed it."
"Then why won't the Invincible listen to us?" The Skyworms could not accept this reality.
They had even given up their chance to escape, risking their lives to break in and reclaim the ship despite facing an enemy they could never defeat. Yet the ship had attacked them. That hurt them far more than becoming Slave! They could become Slave, or even die, but the ship they worshiped as a totem had actively rejected them, driving them into utter despair.
"If you want to know why it won't obey, you should ask your leader. This ship doesn't listen to me either." After saying that, Huang Ji stepped forward and touched the Invincible as well.
The Invincible greeted him with another arc of deep-blue light, but Huang Ji reacted extremely quickly. He instantly summoned the Lawkeeper's Spear and blocked the strike.
"I'm warning you again, alien. Don't come near me." The Invincible threatened Huang Ji in the same way.
Seeing this, the Skyworms were utterly confused and all turned to their leader.
Bone Fan's bisected body repaired itself in an instant. With an ugly expression, she said, "I... I understand now."
"What happened, Leader?"
Bone Fan hesitated for a moment before saying, "The Invincible is a living ship. More precisely, it's a living being. It only obeys its owner's commands.
