Inside the Body Washing Cave, Chen Mu listened to the gambling chatter of several Hundred Illusions Sect disciples at the entrance and couldn't help taking an interest in the pitch-black cavern before him.
He unfolded the True Hearing Technique and carefully listened inch by inch. Before long, he discovered a peculiar fluctuation.
As the group ventured deeper, wisps of strange energy seeped from the surrounding cave walls.
This energy was shapeless and intangible. Stirred by the airflow from the group's movements, it was like lifeless wind. Yet not long after everyone passed by, it began moving on its own like a living thing, slowly trailing behind them.
Before they realized it, Chen Mu and his group had all become immersed in this energy.
"So this is Demonic Energy?" Chen Mu glanced at the oblivious crowd and reached out to seize a wisp.
