When the people of Tangshan Courtyard joined Nine Peaks Mountain, it was like dropping a small stone into a lake. There were some ripples at first, but calm soon returned.
That day, atop Weizhi Peak.
Tang Zhimu came before a dense forest and looked up to see a tall, burly figure clad in crimson armor.
Its head was covered by a hood, and its face was smooth as an egg. Only a crimson vortex swirled at its center like a single eye, staring fixedly at him.
After just one glance, he felt as though his mind and spirit were being sucked away.
What the hell is this strange thing?
Tang Zhimu's heart tightened. He lowered his head, not daring to look again.
"Your Excellency, has the Academy Supervisor emerged from seclusion?" he asked cautiously with a respectful cupped-fist salute.
Yet after waiting quite a while, the figure gave no response. Tang Zhimu could not help but sigh.
Over the past two months, he had come to visit more than once, but the result had always been the same. It seemed Dean Chen was still in seclusion.
Just as he was about to turn and leave, the dense forest before him vanished like a popped bubble, revealing a Wooden Cabin in the distance.
He looked up and saw Chen Mu on the corridor, stretching his arms and legs.
Tang Zhimu respectfully saluted the armored divine general again, then hurried toward the Wooden Cabin.
"Academy Supervisor, the Earth Spirit Vital Qi on Weizhi Peak has inexplicably risen. Its current density is no less than that of Star Picking Peak." On the cabin corridor, Tang Zhimu respectfully cupped his fists.
"Do you know the reason for this?" he asked, looking at Chen Mu with probing eyes.
"Perhaps because of the Star Shift?"
