Chen Mu survived Qingshan County’s unrest, honed his skills, and uncovered the Five Ghosts Bag while becoming entangled in the schemes surrounding Qingfeng Temple’s Altar. As his planned departure approached, he learned his Body Tempering progress was far faster than he had believed.

• Chen Mu killed Zhou Liang and Zheng Huan when they tried to rob his home, then hid their bodies and kept their Short Swords.
• Chen Mu bought a Body Tempering Technique and sword manual at the Ghost Market, advanced to Bone Strengthening, and began selling fish to support himself.
• Chen Mu used Spirit-Disturbing Incense to disrupt the White Wave Gang as he trained and learned that Yinhun incidents were spreading through Qingshan County.
• Chen Mu overheard Daoist Qianshan plotting against Zuo Sheng, fought the Pale-Faced Youth and Qianshan, and escaped with their bodies and possessions despite being badly injured.
• Chen Mu recovered in a cabin near Qingfeng Temple, discovered that the Crimson Leather Pouch was a Five Ghosts Bag, and learned to summon Paper Men and store objects inside it.
• Chen Mu killed the Black-Clad Strongman after the man attacked him, while Feng Ren and Cheng Yi planned to refine the Heartless Bell using human lives and organs.
• Chen Mu advanced the Five Ghosts Moving Mountains Incantation, summoned a second Yin Soul Paper Figure, and learned he could move objects in two directions at once.

Chen Mu advanced his body and soul cultivation while fleeing the Jinghong Gang’s suspicions and preparing a hidden refuge. Sikou Yu’s search for Lin Que’s killer led him toward the people connected to Qingfeng Temple.

• Chen Mu left Qingshan County with Jie Jia’s caravan, survived the deadly mist, and reached Nanyang Prefecture, where Cheng Yi warned him to stay away from Cheng Ming.
• Chen Mu developed the Red Falcon Divine Intent, began cultivating Soul Force, and started a medicine business with Jie Jia while building his strength.
• After Lin Que’s men targeted his operation, Chen Mu infiltrated White Tiger Hall’s ship, killed Lin Que and the Boat Masters, and escaped with Lin Que’s valuables.
• Chen Mu concealed himself, learned that Dragon Transformation Pills could limit a martial artist’s potential, and trained in the Jade-Eyed Golden Ape technique before buying the White Ape technique.

Chen Mu killed Sikou Yu, fled Nanyang Prefecture City, and hid in Lijiang Garrison City while the Jinghong Gang searched for him. As his cultivation advanced, Zhuo Yinghai’s investigation closed in, but Chen Mu returned toward Nanyang under the name Mu Chen.

• Chen Mu killed Sikou Yu with the Five Ghosts, disposed of the evidence, and learned that the Five Ghosts Bag had devoured him.
• The Jinghong Gang searched for Chen Mu and Cheng Yi, while Chen Mu stayed home, cultivated, and prepared to leave Nanyang Prefecture City.
• Chen Mu escaped through the city checkpoint, killed Zhuo Rufeng after Zhuo Rufeng recognized him, and continued to Lijiang Garrison City.
• Chen Mu developed a Breathing Method, advanced his cultivation, and discovered that he could alter his height and build as well as his face.
