After Spirit Hall destroyed the Dragon Serpent Family and forced Tang San to dissolve the Tang Sect, Wu Qi completed his Eighth Trial and set out for the Sun Moon Continent to seek Soul Tool technology. There he recruited Wu Qingtian after exposing the theft that had been pinned on him.

• Tang San recruited the Dragon Serpent Family into the Tang Sect, but Chen Ping led a Spirit Hall attack that killed Meng Shu, Chao Tianxiang, Meng Yiran, and many of their clansmen as Tang San fled with Tang Xiao.
• Spirit Hall and its allies blamed the Tang Sect for plotting against Balak, and Tang San agreed to fold the sect into the Clear Sky Sect to prevent further pressure.
• Sea Horse Douluo searched for the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and approached the Clear Sky Sect and Dugu Bo, while the Gathering Righteousness Sect cautiously assigned him to transport medicinal herbs.
• Wu Qi trained against the Ice and Snow Two Emperors, then endured Hunter’s trial spar and reached Soul Power Level 99 before clearing the Eighth Trial.
• The God of Destruction evolved Wu Qi’s leg Soul Bones into Divine Gear and made his Ninth Trial becoming the pope of Spirit Hall.

Wu Qi gathered Soul Tool knowledge and allies, brought Zhao Chenggong into his service, and helped expose Sea Horse Douluo’s attempt to steal the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. After Bibi Dong resigned, Wu Qi became Spirit Hall’s new Pope and prepared a coronation that drew rival powers into his political maneuvering.

• Wu Qi recruited Zhao Chenggong after buying Soul Tool research and protecting him through his Level Seven assessment in Mingdu.
• Sea Horse Douluo tried to enter the Heaven Dou royal treasury, but Dugu Bo and Chen Xin exposed the trap and Chen Xin killed him.
• Wu Qi returned to Douluo Continent, rewarded the Gathering Righteousness Sect’s Elders, and arranged support and materials for Zhao Chenggong’s Soul Tool research.
• Bibi Dong requested Wu Qi’s approval to inherit a divine position, then resigned as Pope, and Wu Qi revealed his strength before Spirit Hall’s assembly.
• Wu Qi took charge of Spirit Hall, planned a Hall of Judgment under Qian Renxue, and encouraged Hu Liena to keep cultivating after Bibi Dong departed.

Wu Qi secured peace between Heaven Dou and Star Luo, then reshaped Spirit Hall through banks, newspapers, oversight, and Soul Tool education. As Tang San prepared to challenge Qian Renxue and Feng Xiaotian gained Snow Empress's power, the story left Spirit Hall stronger and several young Spirit Masters pursuing divine inheritances.

• Dai Weisi asked Wu Qi to support his claim to the Star Luo throne, and Wu Qi promised protection but refused to interfere in the empire's internal affairs.
• Xue Qinghe and Dai Tianfeng negotiated over reparations and territory, then signed a ceasefire after Wu Qi helped them reach a compromise.
• Qian Gu Changkong completed his Titled Douluo advancement, and Wu Qi took the papal throne while promising Spirit Hall would maintain its public services.
• Yu Xiaogang accused Spirit Hall of causing the border crisis, but Wu Qi and Ning Fengzhi refuted his evidence and Tang Xiao fled Spirit City with him.

Wu Qi completed his divine inheritance, strengthened Spirit Hall, and led an assault that destroyed Sea God Island. As Dai Mubai and Dai Weisi battled for Star Luo’s throne, Tang San prepared to pursue the Sea God inheritance and Wu Qi’s agents approached Zhu Zhuqing.

• Wu Qi completed the God of Destruction’s inheritance, while Qian Renxue became an Angel God and the God Realm Committee sentenced Poseidon for interfering with her trial.
• Tang San investigated the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and entered Star Luo’s succession struggle, while Wu Qi covertly supported both Dai Mubai and Dai Weisi.
• Wu Qi arranged for five Spirit Guiding Ships to carry Spirit Hall’s forces to Sea God Island, where Feng Xiaotian led the invasion and Bo Saixi evacuated the island’s residents.
• Spirit Hall captured Sea God Island’s treasures, and Wu Qi introduced Contribution Points to reward members and circulate goods from the treasury.
