"Young man, you're finally back! I thought something had happened to you!"
Li Qing had only just returned to the campfire when he heard Old Man Sun's voice.
The campfire was still burning brightly. Between two trees, Old Man Sun had woven himself a hammock from vines on the ground, and it looked rather comfortable and cozy.
"I made a round of the surrounding area. Nothing happened; it was fairly peaceful," Li Qing replied calmly.
"That's good. Let's each keep watch for half the night. We need to be careful when spending the night in these old woods."
Li Qing nodded in agreement. If both of them fell asleep, their ability to handle danger would be far too low. If venomous snakes or savage beasts attacked, they would be in for a miserable time.
Amid the crackling of dry wood burning in the fire, Li Qing sat cross-legged and began practicing the Golden Body Technique and Turtle Breath Technique.
