Ah, a premium launch note. I never expected to write two of these in just half a year.
First, I would like to offer my deepest apologies once again to the readers of my previous book. I'm sorry.
Thinking it over carefully, my previous book really took too many hits. During the New Year, I discussed a premise with my editor that felt pretty good, but because I wasn't capable enough, I ultimately wrote it off course and strayed from the theme.
Though I considered salvaging it in the end, it was already too late. The numbers simply wouldn't rise. By the time I had written four hundred thousand characters, seeing my daily follows in the negatives and my average subscriptions falling, my mentality finally blew up, so I cut the book.
My previous book launched with eight thousand follows. I thought it should have gotten around five hundred first-day subscriptions, but reality slapped me hard across the face—it didn't even reach half that.
In any case, let's get back to talking about this book.
This book has even fewer follows, only a little over seven thousand at the moment. I don't dare place too much hope in the first-day subscriptions anymore.
Well, five hundred first-day subscriptions is still the dream, but three hundred would be acceptable too. At the very least, it has to be an improvement over the last book, right?
At present, the central theme and veins of this book are still firmly in my grasp. With the release of the final public chapter, I believe I've basically shown everyone the overall tone and world setting of Two Realms Travel.
Right now, though, the pacing seems a little slow. That was somewhat beyond my expectations. I originally set the Mortal Wuxia arc at no more than two
