First of all, I owe all readers an apology. A lot of bad things happened over the past few days, leaving me in a terrible state. For three straight days, I could barely sleep. I simply couldn't focus my mind enough to think or write, which led to this book missing updates for two consecutive days.
At the time, my Dao heart suddenly collapsed. For a while, I even impulsively considered cutting the book short and abandoning my pen. It was as though I had been possessed by an Inner Demon—I had no idea what I was doing.
Looking back now, I truly shouldn't have acted that way. I completely failed to consider how all of you readers would feel. I apologize to everyone once again. I don't dare hope that everyone can forgive me, but at the very least, I need to make my stance clear here.
When I first started writing this book, I was still working in a factory, screwing bolts. Without the support of all of you readers, how could I possibly have achieved what I have today?
But over this past year or so, I realized that as time went by, I seemed to have gradually forgotten why I began writing in the first place. I became more concerned with the book's performance, and that led to the lesson I received today.
Though this matter will eventually pass, this scar will not fade so quickly. Perhaps it will remain with me for the rest of my life, warning me to stay true.
Here, I once again apologize to all my fellow readers, and I make this promise: Qinghe Immortal Clan will not be dropped. No matter how well or poorly it performs in the future, I will do my utmost to finish writing it.
