"Then we won't go out tomorrow."

"Mm, we'll just stay inside." She lowered her head and continued writing. "If you feel bored, you can go to the Greenhouse and chat with Pabbie again."

"I'm not bored. Staying inside is nice."

They went to the Great Hall for dinner and sat at the end of the Gryffindor Long Table.

Ron and Hermione were sitting nearby. When they saw Harry and Cassandra walking over together, Ron merely raised a hand in greeting, while Hermione closed the book in her hands and nodded at them.

Harry sat beside her, and Cassandra sat beside him, picking up her cutlery as naturally as she always had.

Ron left first after dinner, saying he needed to return a book to the library.

Hermione stayed a while longer, and the three of them chatted briefly about the Confederation's official assessment report.

Hermione said she had already obtained an electronic copy from the Technical Group and read through it. The data was detailed, the conclusions sound—it was a qualified official report.

"Then do you think this case is completely over?" Harry asked.

"From the Confederation's perspective, yes," Hermione said. "The system has been locked and has begun operating stably. The client has not appeared, and there are no abnormalities in the monitoring data. There's no reason to continue treating it as an active case."

"But from a personal perspective, it might never be completely over. You'll remember those things, and so will I. We just don't need to deal with them every day anymore."

Harry sat in the Great Hall, looking at the candles high above and the magically enchanted night sky on the ceiling. It was a deep blue, as though the real night sky had been moved indoors, or as though countless tiny points of light
