Harry leaned back in his chair, looking at the moonlight, and sat quietly for a while.

Cassandra sat quietly across from him as well, sharing the same silence.

They sat in the moonlight for a little longer before Harry stood and returned the book to its original place on the shelf beside the collection of Lighthouse essays.

Cassandra had already set down her teacup and was leaning back in her chair, watching the moonlight outside the window.

Her posture was casual, her legs crossed over the edge of the chair, one hand resting on the armrest and the other hanging at her side.

"What do we have planned for tomorrow?" Harry asked.

"No classes tomorrow morning. I have a sixth-year class in the afternoon." She turned to look at him. "We can stay in or go for a walk in the morning."

"Let's go to the Greenhouse in the morning. Pabbie said yesterday that she wanted to move several pots of agave outdoors. She said this was the best time for transplanting them."

"Then go after breakfast. I'll stay in and revise next week's lesson plans."

"Okay."

When Harry woke the next morning, it was already bright outside.

Cassandra had gotten up before him. She was sitting by the windowsill, drinking tea and reading, dressed in a thin dark gray sweater with her hair casually draped over her shoulders.

Hearing him stir, she looked up from her book. "Awake? Breakfast is on the table."

After washing up, Harry walked over to the table. On the plate were two slices of toast, a fried egg, and a small dish of jam. Beside them was a steaming pot of black tea.

He sat down and ate a few bites when Cassandra's voice came from the windowsill. "Pabbie sent a message yesterday evening.
