One student held up his phone and said, "The academy sent out a notice. Not all classes are suspended during this rule period. Some classes still have to continue."
"Huh?" Another boy playing a game said gloomily, "I thought everything would be canceled."
"It's unlikely they'd cancel everything. Classes that don't require much talking don't need to be suspended."
"That's true."
If classes were suspended every time a new rule was announced, students would probably spend half of each academic year stuck in their dorms. There would be far too little time left for studying.
"You guys sure do talk a lot." The boy lying on his bed reading a novel glanced up. "Aren't you afraid you'll accidentally lie and fail the rule?"
"But we can't just not say a single word."
"Just think it over for a few seconds before speaking. Make sure there's no problem, then say it."
"This rule is pretty interesting, though. We can use it to ask questions." The boy holding the phone grinned and asked the one reading, "Wang Xiang, answer me. Is there a woman at the academy you secretly have a crush on?"

"Then there is one. With this rule in place, refusing to directly admit it when faced with a question is basically an admission!"
