"Here..."
After Sigaoxin led the soldiers back to the Core Area, the first thing she did was confirm the Alien Intelligence's condition. Once she found its location, she immediately had the soldiers establish a perimeter around it.
She then noticed that Guan Tong was no longer there.
She was not worried that anything had happened to Guan Tong. She had found several unconscious parasites still lingering at the scene, which showed that the question he had asked had not triggered the Alien Intelligence into feeding on a large scale.
Moreover, when she had still been some distance away, she had seen a pitch-black dome formed from Shadow on the vehicle. That was likely some kind of "domain" Guan Tong had mentioned before.
Sigaoxin knew that now was not the time to worry about where Guan Tong had gone. She needed to clear the scene and set up the equipment again as quickly as possible.
Elsewhere, after the UHC received the analysis department's findings, everyone was astonished by the Alien Intelligence's internal structure.
All along, everyone had believed it to be some kind of unusual lifeform, an independent individual.
Yet the analysis department's conclusion was that this "individual" was actually composed of an enormous number of nanoscopic organisms or nanorobots.
Humanity was no stranger to the concept of nanotechnology and could even apply it to a limited extent.
But a special intelligent entity like this, one that integrated hundreds of billions or even greater quantities of nanoscale creations and possessed intelligence, was beyond what humanity could achieve.
This discovery also explained why it did not need to excrete. It was not devouring things, but decomposing them. The lifeforms it decomposed might have dispersed into the air or provided energy to countless nanoscopic organisms.
Furthermore, with this discovery, technical experts had also
