The darkness formed by Shadow expanded at an incredible speed.
The cultist legion watched helplessly as darkness swallowed them, their vision severely obstructed.
At that moment, Guan Tong was held high in the air by a palm formed from shadows. Wearing goggles, he aimed his Silver Hunter downward and ahead, repeatedly pulling the trigger.
He did not fire only high-damage, wide-area ammunition like Type 3 Grenades and Type 6 Missiles. Instead, the first things he fired were Type 4 Smoke Bombs and Type 5 EMP Bullets.
The smoke bombs could further block visibility. Even if the enemy tried to use vehicle headlights or lighting tools to see within the Shadow Domain, it would be futile.
The EMP bullets, meanwhile, were meant to disable the vehicles, preventing the enemy from driving wildly out of the Shadow Domain from different directions.
The Shadow Domain's range was limited, and every further expansion consumed a great deal more Mind Power. Guan Tong's remaining Mind Power was naturally enormous compared to other individual Ascendants, but compared with his own peak reserves and the high consumption required by his various abilities, he did not have much left.
In this situation, he had to save whatever he could.
After the large stockpile of smoke bombs and EMP bullets accumulated earlier had been fired, the cultist legion within the Shadow Domain fell into chaos once more.
Some people turned on their headlights, hoping to illuminate their surroundings, only to find that even the fog lights could not penetrate the dense mist all around them. Then, as bursts of blue electricity flashed through the air, they discovered that equipment inside their vehicles was constantly sparking. Engines died, power cut out, and nothing could be restarted.
"Such thick fog! I can't see anything!"
"How did the car's circuitry burn out?"
