Yunhua City Armed Command Center.
Multiple computers and other instruments were set up in the hall. The commander stood on the platform, pacing back and forth anxiously.
"Still haven't finished locating that screech?"
"For now, we can only confirm that it's somewhere in the NK District in the southern part of the city. We can't pinpoint the exact location yet."
"As long as that screech sounds again, we'll be able to locate its exact position within a minute!"
"Is that so?" The commander gave the order. "Have the armed squad head to the NK District and stand by. Once we have the exact location, notify them immediately."
As soon as the commander finished speaking, someone reported over the radio, "Commander, six people claiming to be the Third Squad have arrived. Should we let them into the command room?"
Upon hearing "Third Squad," the commander immediately replied, "Let them in."
He had previously received notice from the higher-ups that the Third Squad was a special unit stationed in Yunhua City with high-level authority. The armed squads stationed here were to cooperate with and support their operations.
The doors opened, and a group of six entered. They all looked young; none appeared to be over thirty, and two or three of them even looked under twenty.
The man leading them stepped forward and asked the commander, "Hey, have you found the Screecher's location yet?"
The condescending tone left the commander somewhat displeased, but considering the higher-ups' orders, he suppressed his anger and said, "Not yet. We've only confirmed that it's in the NK District."
"You've only narrowed it down to the district? That's pretty inefficient." The man frowned. "Forget it, we'll head over first. Notify us through the communication channel the moment there's any new information!"
