Background

Zhao Xuanzhen was an orphan in his previous life. An elderly Taoist of the Two Forms Sect discovered Yin and Yang Qi within him and passed down the sect’s Daoist arts, but Zhao’s frail body was fated not to survive beyond twenty. He died and reincarnated in the Douluo Continent with his memories intact. 213

In his new life, Zhao was born into a branch of the Spirit Pagoda’s Phoenix family. His parents, who possessed Innate Soul Power at ranks eight and seven, died in battle.
