While he consolidated his new cultivation, Ye Canglan attacked the badly wounded Marquis Weiyuan, Su Linyuan, and Master Jingse as Ling Xuance entered the hall.

• The restored lotus platform filled Chen Qing with Source Essence, and Xuanmo Buddha Venerable explained its powers and need for Spirit Water.
• Xuanmo Buddha Venerable asked Chen Qing to report Dan Xuan’s survival to the Great Sumeru Temple and gave him two inheritance scrolls and a Golden Buddha Seal containing his peak strike.

Xuanmo's death caused the ruins' restrictions to collapse, and Chen Qing arrived to shield the wounded Marquis Weiyuan from Ye Canglan.

Chen Qing chased Great Lord Feili through the Ancient Kingdom Ruins, wounded him with the Four Symbols Thunderbolt Bow, and defeated him with his spear before killing him with the Qinglong Arrow. As Chen Qing moved to make sure Feili was dead, Great Lord Di Cang arrived and confronted him.

• Great Lord Feili fled the ruins after Chen Qing killed Gu Li and Ye Canglan, but Chen Qing pursued him and drew closer.
• Chen Qing shot Feili in the shoulder with the White Tiger Arrow and scorched him with the Vermilion Bird Arrow, slowing his escape.
