Ansiwodoss sized up this familiar yet unfamiliar young man. The flames around Brais gradually subsided, his aura growing obscure. Nothing about him suggested that he was a Legendary Peak mage, and his sharp, outstanding bearing had become utterly ordinary.
"Is this your magic clone?" he asked again, unable to hold back his confirmation.
One Reslin had already defied common sense. What was the deal with this Brais?
Of the several common spells for creating clones, the Nine Ring Illusion Spell could only create a magic clone half as powerful as the original, while Brais's level was clearly more than half. Projection Spell had a range limit, and the projected clone wielded the same power as the original.
Astral Projection, Magic Soul Pot, Greater Enslavement, Mind Clone, and the other spells all differed from Brais's situation. Their characteristics did not match.
If Rayne had not said so himself, no one would have guessed that Brais was a magic clone.
Ansiwodoss was not skilled in clone spells and had never researched them, so he had failed to see through it for the moment.
"Teacher."
Brais answered for Rayne. "This is one of my secrets. Please forgive me for being unable to reveal it for now."
"Always so mysterious..." Ansiwodoss did not pursue the matter, but out of curiosity, he casually asked, "Rayne, do you have a lot of clones?"
"I do have a few," Rayne replied vaguely.
Osiria, standing nearby, almost failed to hold back her laughter when she heard this. More than ten thousand clones counted as "a few"?
Rayne keenly noticed the Rainbow Dragon's reaction. Afraid she would let the truth slip, he hurriedly changed the subject. "Xiliya, you're about to enter the High Council and be enfeoffed as a duke. Have you
