But this was not Time Stop.
Even a deity could not maintain Time Stop over such a vast area.
The Fel Energy Vortex high in the sky continued to rotate slowly.
Sound could travel, air still flowed, and everything continued operating as usual.
Only the thoughts of living beings were affected.

Rayne understood at once and immediately broke free from the illusion.
He looked toward the gigantic hand reaching out of the Abyssal Gate.
Its most striking feature was its six fingers, black as ink, while the sharp claws at its fingertips were a quintessential demonic trait.
The palm released tremendous Fel Energy, and with a gentle push, it stabilized the unsteady Abyssal Gate.
Then, a gigantic face appeared behind the Abyssal Gate!
Although Rayne had already guessed the other's identity, he was still shaken to the core when he saw that face and drew in a sharp breath.
This colossal Abyssal Gate was roughly two hundred meters tall, yet it still
