Solim was clearly describing a "creator" race that had come from the distant Void, created many races, sowed the seeds of civilization, and then departed in haste. Those keywords reminded him of the "aliens" from his previous life!

Rayne had always known that Aerenus World was a planet. At the very least, the Material Plane had the form of a planet.

There was one most direct proof of this:

Traveling east from the Aurelian Empire across the Endless Sea led to the west coast of the New Continent. Conversely, if one traveled west from the Empire all the way to Oruan, the homeland of the Elves at the westernmost end of the Old Continent, then crossed the Falling Star Ocean, one could also reach the east coast of the New Continent.
