More than a decade ago, when Rayne first met the Black Dragon Igon, the latter had voluntarily revealed that he possessed this Legendary Tier magic item.
At the end of the previous era, when the Abyss launched a massive invasion, an Wood Elf Arch Druid named "Serana" was gravely wounded in battle with a Demon Lord. In her final moments, she separated part of her soul and infused it into a piece of the World Tree's heartwood, creating this amulet.
Serana had been a level 24 Arch Druid in life.
Wearing this amulet granted the equivalent of a Ninth Circle Shapeshifting Spell, the Legendary Element "Myriad Transformations."
It also granted mastery over some Druid spells, which grew stronger as the user's level increased, making it no weaker than a true Arch Druid.
Igon had obtained the amulet by accident and relied on it to do many things: deceive humans, plunder wealth, evade pursuit, and so on. Because he had worn the amulet for so long, he had taken the path of a Druid despite being a Black Dragon and become a believer in the Earth Mother.
