Most of the Divinity accumulated over more than ten thousand years had gone to waste.
More than a decade had passed since then. The trolls of the Sun Tribe and the Minotaurs of the Sunstrider Tribe had persisted in prayer, but their numbers were simply too small. The Divinity had recovered only slightly—a mere drop in the bucket, nowhere near enough to resurrect Anse, the God of the Blazing Sun.
Even if another ten thousand years passed, Anse would have no hope of resurrection.
If that was the case, he might as well benefit himself.
Saint Giles looked at the Divine Fire. The ever-changing crystal resembled a container, with a quarter of its bottom settled with golden matter. That was Divinity!
Igniting the Divine Fire required ten thousand units of Divinity.
This meant that before being ignited, the Divine Fire could hold a maximum of ten thousand units of Divinity. The Divinity before him amounted to roughly 2,500 units.
Saint Giles did not hesitate. He reached out and grasped the Divine Fire. A searing heat surged through him, as though he were holding a red-hot stone. With a thought, he drew out the Divinity within the Divine Fire and sent it surging along his arm into his body. He immediately let out a muffled groan.
It was not pain, but an extreme exhilaration!
The sensation was impossible to describe in words.
Massive streams of visible Divinity were devoured into him. They swiftly
