The trolls in the audience saw Corsaro disappear.

Most of the trolls still did not understand what had happened. Only a few High Tier Paladins knew that this was what it looked like when speed reached its absolute extreme—so fast that even their eyes could not follow it. They were immediately terrified.

In the arena, Zurazab widened his eyes and finally caught a glimpse of light from the corner of his eye.

It was moving too fast to see clearly. All he could make out was a blurry silhouette within the light.

He reacted in an instant.

He turned and swung his axe!

Clang...

A thunderous crash almost overlapped with the sound of the gong, but it was far sharper, as though it possessed the power to pierce metal and stone. Many trolls sitting in the front row felt their eardrums ache and instinctively covered their ears. Only then did they see a tall figure appear above the chieftain's head, raising a greatsword and bringing it down. It clashed head-on with the chieftain's battle-axe, producing that terrifying sound.

Holy Light erupted where the greatsword and battle-axe collided, forming a massive arc of light. It split the air, and with the momentum of its descent from above, it seemed ready to cleave the chieftain in half.

"Ah..."

Zurazab's body swelled as well. Power Burst surged through him as he resisted Corsaro's Cleave.

But it lasted only a brief instant.

Boom!

Every troll felt the ground tremble beneath their feet. The entire Gul'bak Arena shook as they watched the chieftain being driven into the ground by that single sword strike.

A pit several meters across appeared beneath Zurazab's feet. Half his body had been driven underground, yet he still maintained his stance, holding up his battle-axe in resistance.
