Hundreds of thousands of people prayed in unison, and the atmosphere was solemn and dignified.
Half a minute later, under the watchful eyes of the masses, a beam of light finally shot out from the rainbow passage in the sky.
It was impossible to say what color the light was, or even describe its shape. In the blink of an eye, it descended from the heavens and hovered directly in front of the head of the Statue of the Goddess of Magic, above the square in front of the temple.
The light slowly spread apart, revealing a tall, slender woman.
"Goddess above!"
The devout believers descended into a frenzy, prostrating themselves on the ground and praising her loudly without pause.
Even those who were not believers of the Goddess of Magic dropped to one knee, offering their respects to one of the greatest deities in the world.
The projected images in the sky vanished the moment the Goddess of Magic descended.
However, everyone could clearly see the goddess as long as they looked up. No matter how near or far they were, or from which angle they viewed her, everyone saw exactly the same image, as if she were right before them, only ten paces away.
She had long black hair like a waterfall and wore an elegant, dark silk robe, lightly fastened at the waist with a jeweled belt.
Her black hair danced in the wind, and the hem of her robe swayed gently.
Her body was not even one-millionth the size of the statue, yet in the eyes of the people, she appeared far taller than it, becoming the sole focus of the world.
Like the statue, she wore a half-veil over her face, revealing only a pair of beautiful eyes that contained specks of starlight. The moment
