The caravan entered Maringer Manor and stopped in front of the villa.

From a distance, Rayne saw many people standing on the lawn outside the entrance. At the head was the butler Abigail, accompanied by dozens of servants and guards, a squad of Extreme Warriors stationed permanently at the manor, and over a hundred fully armed elite Transcendents. They had formed a grand reception party to welcome their master home.

These Transcendents wore uniform Enchanted Armor. Some in the ranks held square banners mounted on spears, each embroidered with a double-headed eagle.

It wore a crown and had two talons beneath it, one clutching a longsword and the other a scepter. Golden wheat ears curled around its sides and bottom, while three sacred emblems crowned the top. The six-pointed star in the middle represented the Goddess of Magic, the Earth Mother Goddess's Life-Giving Vessel was on the left, and the God of Justice's Codex Scales were on the right.

This was the Double-Headed Eagle Banner of the Aurelian Empire.

Now, wherever the eagle banner appeared, it represented the Empire's regent. These people were the Rick Guard.
